Responsibilities:
1. Implements IT related technical, process and support solutions according to defined and communicated requirements.
2. May assist in requirements definition IT related technical, process and support solutions.
3. Under direction of Site IT Staff install and configure data center infrastructure according to defined project requirements and Industry best practice technical standards.
4. Provides technical competence and professional judgment to diagnose and resolve site computer room and network interruptions according to defined service level requirements and business impact.
Experience : (List the type and length of experience)
Minimum Three (3) years IT Operations experience in a technically diverse environment. Working knowledge and understanding of data center hardware technology and protocols, server operating systems, server and storage hardware and peripheral infrastructure applications.
Specific skills : (Include specific skills and knowledge necessary to meet the objectives of the position)
· Good written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills with ability to clearly document and articulate operational processes and procedures.
· Strong discipline and well organized approach to operational task administration and execution.
· Working knowledge of computerized system validation requirements and procedures.
· Team oriented with strong diagnostic, analytical and conceptual skills with detailed orientation
Computer Skills:
· Good understanding of industry leading Data Center administration tools from vendors including but not limited to Microsoft, HP, Citrix, Veritas and McAfee.
· Working knowledge of Server OS protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WINS etc).
· Working knowledge of server hardware, storage and tape backup component installation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair.
· User knowledge of Data Center performance and capacity management, monitoring and reporting tools such as Insight Manager and MS Operations Manager.
· Administration knowledge of Data Center application delivery and optimization technologies such as VMWare and Citrix.
· Working knowledge of Office Applications. (Word, Excel, PP, Project, Outook, Visio)
Desired Certifications:
· Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA)
· Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE)
