SR ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
Our client is an award-winning, consulting, engineering, and operations firm. This 500 person firm is one of the leaders in the
industry.
The successful candidate will perform electrical design tasks. Candidate will be responsible for the preparation of specifications and
will assist in proposal writing, drafting of design reports and formulation of budget assessments. Areas of technical expertise should
include low- to medium-voltage power distribution systems, AC and DC drive, interior and exterior lighting and electrical specification
standards. Work will involve a mix of projects from preliminary engineering through 100% design and construction services. Candidate
should provide outstanding client interaction, be goal-oriented and willing to mentor junior staff. All applicants must be willing to adapt
to a growing, dynamic and exciting work environment.
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Proven Project Management skills
- Professional Engineer Registration
- 10+ years experience as a Consulting Electrical Engineer for municipal and/or industrial projects
- Must have excellent knowledge and experience in applying the National Electrical Code as it relates to electrical design
- Must be able to design service entrance, feeder and branch circuits, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, communications systems,¿

- Must be able to design service entrance, feeder and branch circuits, lighting, fire alarm, security systems, communications systems,
emergency power and power distribution equipment
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to mentor junior staff
- Comfortable and effective with clients and contractors as a direct interface
- Experience with electrical analytical software and Microsoft office
- Experience with project planning, time budgeting and hours tracking
- Water and Wastewater facilities design
- Food and beverage plants or similar facilities design
