Job Listing: Dispatcher -1

Dispatcher:
-Responsible for monitoring and supporting the activity that occurs on the production assembly lines on a daily basis.
-Exercise high level of problem solving capabilities in high pressure situations and in an ever changing environment.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Monitors radios covering communications channels and views terminals with various data and information on the status of the Plant's systems.
-Provide daily verbal reports to Plant Management pertaining to dispatcher issues.
-Plans, schedules and assigns maintenance job request.
-Informs Maintenance Supervisors of job requests status, by shift
-Responsible daily for inputting starting and ending times for all Lines and Conveyors.
-Maintain daily manpower and personnel absentee reports for all departments.
-Assists outside Vendors when requesting help from maintenance department
-Direct outside calls to floor personnel
-Assists 3rd party system support with any computer or software issues on the Plant floor
-Receive and dispatch Help Desks work orders

Required Skills/Experience
-Ability to work in high-pressure situations and prioritize emergency situations accordingly
-Strong listening skills to be able to receive and record maintenance job requests from Plant personnel via radio, phone or verbal instruction
-Clear and concise written and oral communication to effectively communicate with all levels within the plant on a daily basis and also in emergency situations
-High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and coordinate activities between Personnel and the Labor Department
-Knowledge of mechanical and electrical technology to dispatch the correct service crew - 1 year experience

Shift flexible: Core hours: 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM

Education:
- High School graduate or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding and knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
