Job Listing: I&C Engineer

The I&C Engineer will manage the Power Plant Controls group of the Utilities Department and provide support and direction while managing the routine activities associated with various Power Plant control and instrumentation systems.

The I&C Engineer will be working on Distributed Control System (DCS), a Power Management System (PMS), various programmable logic controller (PLC) based systems as well as various stand alone discrete control systems.

They will also work on departmental projects relating to power plant systems, distribution systems and building systems and provide a source of expertise in areas of instrumentation and control system design, commissioning, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting for utilities.

Perform Project Management duties for projects or portions of projects with significant Instrumentation and Control Engineering content either independently or in a team framework.

Be available to provide technical support at any time during emergency situations for the Utilities Department Operations Group in order to maintain utility system operation and reliability.
