Job Listing: Telecommunications Support Specialist

Our client is looking for a Telecom Specialist to join their team. This is a 3-month contract to support their telecommunications department. The Telecommunications Support Specialist is the central point of contact for providing and maintaining all telecommunications systems and services, including: office telephone service (Verizon), voice mail, long distance, automated attendant systems, call routing systems, cellular phone services (AT&T), numeric and text paging services (USA Mobility), and twoway radio services.


On a day to day basis, this individual will be responsible for ordering new telecommunications equipment, systems, and services; troubleshooting
telecom related problems and coordinating repairs to existing systems and services; assisting with planning and implementing telecommunications related projects and initiatives; processing telecommunications invoices; auditing telecommunications related charges; and maintaining telecommunications related databases and documentation.

To be qualified for this position the ideal candidate should have a 1-2 years of experience. MUST HAVES - EXPERIENCE WITH WORD AND EXEL. PLUS WOULD BE EXPERIENCE WITH T-COMM VENDORS AND VOIP EXPERIENCE.

This is a 3-month contract with a great work environment. Candidate can gain experience/new technologies. The job can potential morph into a full-time position.
