Job Listing: Financial Analyst
Volt Services Group is recruiting a Financial Analyst for an industry leading organization in Granville. Our customer is seeking a well-rounded financial analyst – proficient in budgeting, planning and forecasting. This company offers a competitive and progressive benefits package.
In this position you will:
- Prepare the financial reporting, closing, forecasting and analysis for each of the different business units on a monthly basis to compare numbers versus plan. Analyze operational results for variances of actual to plan and prior year for P&L and balance sheet accounts and provide financial narratives.
- Provide financial support to the business units. Update forecasts monthly to reflect latest thinking and forecast 18 months rolling forward. Provide and present monthly, quarterly, YTD and total year analysis.
- Generate annual planning process including assisting business units in developing and finalizing forecasts for financial schedules while developing presentations for senior management.
- Generate and include in the planning process financial analyses illustrating the financial impact associated with potential new product and cost reduction initiatives.

Required Skills
- 1 to 3 years experience and BS/BA Accounting or Finance
- Understanding P&L's, balance sheets and other financial analyses to make sound decisions for reporting or presentations for management.
- Past experiences with public and private accounting/finance companies/firms.
- Ability to use Microsoft Work, Excel, Access and PowerPoint in addition to learning new software as needed.
