Job Listing: Shipping/ Export Specialist

Aerotek is currently hiring a Shipping Clerk/ Export Specialist for a large distribution company in Curtis Bay, MD.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

- taking raw materials / orders and originating customs and compliance documents.
- Shipping candidates must have experience with customs compliance, hazmat compliance.
- They are looking for a Shipping/Export Coordinator to handle all domestic and international shipments from this location.
- This person is responsible for reporting to the shipping manager for supervision and control of inbound and outbound shipments on all domestic and international business.

Duties include but are not limited to:

-Create and verify export documentation in compliance with custom regulations.
-Maintain arriving vessel container listing
-Track, obtain releases, notify Fila departments of arriving purchase orders
-File of parcel / truck claims and issuing credit request
-Resolve problems or expedite shipments for various Fila departments
-Prepare customs documentation for international exports
-Track shipment with the freight forward to ensure receipt of the shipment on site.

This position pays $16-$22 per hour.
