Job Listing: Master Production Scheduler and Planning

Aerotek is currently seeking a Master Production Scheduler and Planning Supervisor for a client located in the Corning, NY area.

Position Summary:
Direct and supervise material planers on developing MRP and schedules to support overall manufacturing requirements. Asses schedule risks and opportunities and will feed information to Program Managers, Purchasing, Lead Engineers, Manufacturing, Production Planning, Site Manager and others concerning overall master plan for achieving customer requirements based on program commitments.

Required Skills:
Direct and supervise material and production planners on development of MRP schedules that support the overall master production plan.
Supervise and direct material expeditors in conjunction with purchasing for follow up of materials.
Prepare integrated master schedule for overall production at the facility.
Review issues and impacts and give direction for the planners to resolve.
Update and maintain master schedules per contracts verifying with all pertinent areas in relation to needs and demands.
Interact with all production/engineering and systems areas to insure that adequate resources are available to support overall operation.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
A minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment with a concentration in materials management is also required.
