Job Listing: Process Manager

A privately owned engineering and design firm located in the Decatur AL area is seek a Process Safety Manager who will work with engineering, operations and maintenance personnel to implement, update, and improve process safety management systems.

Candidates must have experience in at least one of the following industries: refining, chemical, paper, steel, aluminum, and power. The successful candidate will facilitate and/or scribe Process Hazard Analysis. This is a 9 month contract-to-hire position.

Specific Requirements:

MUST HAVE HAZOP AND PSM EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in engineering discipline, safety or related field
Experience in refining or chemical manufacturing
Knowledge of OSHA's PSM regulation
Ability to perform plant walk downs and understand, analyze, update P&ID and flow diagrams
Detailed and analytical thinking
Ability to travel (60-70%)
