Job Listing: Hazardous Waste Worker

HAZARDOUS WASTE TECHNICIAN

JOB DUTIES:
-Provide environmental compliance and hazardous waste handling services as directed by the facility.
-Take samples of waste for analysis.
-Perform basic waste screening lab operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Experience in management and handling of hazardous waste.
-Working knowledge of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets)
-Current 40 hr. HAZWOPER Certificate.
-Must pass a medical fitness exam and respirator fit test.
-Basic understanding of hazardous materials.
-Basic understanding of relational database model.
-Must have or be able to obtain a commercial drivers license.
-Forklift experience desirable.
-Requires lifting of 25-100 pounds.
-Minor bench top lab experience desirable.
