Job Listing: Account Executive

Aerotek Professional Services is currently seeking an Account Executive for an opportunity with a medical software company in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: identifying, negotiating and assisting in closing strategic partnerships through the use and implementation of company resources; identifying and cultivating new relationships that align with business objectives; developing proposals and presentations for prospects and clients; monitoring relationships to ensure they are developed effectively and are achieving the desired results; developing re-usable deal models for potential opportunities; serving as a team player and effectively working cross-functionally within the company, including product, sales, customer support and marketing; maintaining a thorough understanding of advertising, sales cycles and processes; providing reports to Senior and Executive Management to ensure they are aware of key engagements, needs and issues; attending trade shows in order to ultimately increase customer base.

Qualified candidates must also have the ability to effectively cold call on prospective clients, perform web demos, coordinate needs interdepartmentally, complete RFIs/RFPs, prepare quotes and meet deadlines. Additionally, individuals must be very well versed in the entire MS Office suite, motivated, goal oriented and able to learn new tasks quickly. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and at least four years of business development experience is required.

This is a direct placement opportunity with a starting base salary of $40,000 - $55,000 plus commission. There will also be approximately 40% travel associated with this role.
