Job Listing: Quality Assurance/Control Manager

Aerotek Scientific seeks a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager for manufacturer of commercial goods located in the Port Washington area.

The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager will be:
- Managing the activities of the Laboratory Managers and Quality Personnel
- Communicating the status of the quality system to production management, including any deficiencies
- Acting as the primary contact with new and existing customers for any issues involving product quality
- Completing disposition of all raw materials, components and finished products
- Developing and maintaining Master Product Records for all products
- Ensuring compliance to regulatory and customer quality systems requirements

The successful Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in the natural sciences
- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control
- Excellent communication skills to read, write, and interpret applicable reports and technical information, as well as to diplomatically manage others
- A strong grasp of mathematical concepts, such as probability and statically inference
- PC proficiency, with use of stastical analysis software as a plus

The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager is a 2nd shift direct-placement position with initial pay ranging from $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience. Target start date for this position is mid-June.
