Job Listing: Cost Accounting Clerk

Our client in the City of Industry is in need of a Cost Accounting Clerk. If you have excellent communication and organizational skills, can work independently with minimum supervision, and have an avid interest in accounting, this is a great opportunity to grow and flourish.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
*Implement the standard cost system.
*Perform cost reviews and variance analysis on a monthly basis.
*Develop methods and procedures in computing the cost of materials, and finished products and its inventory valuation.
*Assist month-end closing process.
*Participate in inventory tests and yearly physical inventory.

Responsibilities:
*Heavy Data-Entry for work orders.
*Review and update weekly cost accounting reports for accuracy.
*Prepare monthly reports utilizing Lotus 1-2-3 and Excel.
*Assists the Accounts Payable clerk with filing and vouchers.
*Assist the Accounting Department performing general accounting duties.
