Job Listing: Construction Safety Manager

We are currently seeking a Construction Safety Manager for a large General Contractor located in the Los Angeles area. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Description

The Safety Manager is responsible for implementation and coordination of safety and loss control programs within the company. As Safety Manager, they will provide professional and technical resources to the construction project teams and supervise site safety managers. This individual must be equally comfortable at the construction site, working with Project Management and directing employees training in the field.

Requirements

MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

- Bachelor's degree in related field (engineering, safety, health sciences, risk management)

- OSHA 500 Certified Trainer

- 8 years experience of related construction safety experience

- Supervisory experience

- Technical as well as practical knowledge of basic construction safety laws, i.e., OSHA, Hamates, crane safety, and excavation safety.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.

Required Skills for Construction Safety Manager Job:

  • OSHA 500 CERTIFIED TRAINER
  • MUST HAVE 8 YRS. SAFETY EXP.
  • MUST KNOW CONST. SAFETY LAWS.
