Job Listing: Entry Level Product Designer

Aerotek has a client that is looking for an entry-level product designer. This position will be filled on a contract-to-hire basis. Our client is located in Hoffman Estates, IL which is a northwest suburb of Chicago. This company manufactures cables, harnesses, RF connectors, and antennas. They are looking to have someone interview and start the first week of June.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ENTRY LEVEL PRODUCT DESIGNER**

*Will design, engineer, and develop products according to customer's requirements.

*Work throughout several phases of manufacturing processes relevant to metal, plastics, and electrical harnesses.

*Produce fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings/graphics using Pro-E Wildfire 2.0 as well as maintain existing drawings.

*Translate engineering concepts into designs & creatively design products to maximize material yield and improve productivity.

*Standardize components to improve manufacturing and cost control & create and maintain Bill of Materials.

*Provide technical support to customer


**JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY LEVEL PRODUCT DESIGNER**

*Must have either an Associates OR Bachelors Degree in Engineering OR Computer Aided Design.

*Experience with Pro-E Wildfire is strongly preferred. – If not strong in Pro-E, should at least have some knowledge of it
