Industrial Maintenance Technician

Aerotek Commercial is currently hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Bristol, VA. This is a second shift position. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour. Local Candidates are preferred as no relocation is offered.

Job Description:
This is a second shift, multi-craft technician opportunity. Candidate will be responsible or troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic industrial equipment. Operation of tow motors, scissor lifts and booms will be required. Candidate must be able to repair and troubleshoot PLC and CNC equipment. Candidate will be required to complete testing for maintenance capabilities. This position may require heavy lifting.

Job Requirements:
1) A.AS in related field or relevant technical certificates
2) Five years experience in industrial maintenance
3) Thorough knowledge of National Electrical Code
4) Ability to troubleshoot PLC and CNC equipment
5) Drug Screen and Background check are required
