Job Listing: Research Scientist

Aerotek client is immediately hiring an associate scientist in the Abingdon, MD area.

Candidate must have a degree in a biological related science with 2 years of professional experience in laboratory environment. In addition, candidate must have experience working with applied cell-base immunology projects and microbiology projects. Previous experience in one of more of the following areas; eukaryotic cell culture, aseptic technique, ELISAs, microscopy, microbiology, BSL-3.

Candidate will be responsible for media preparation and reagent stocks, autoclave and dispose of bio-hazardous waste, maintain supply inventory, place supply orders.

******Candidates must, have or be able to obtain, a US security clearance, and be willing to receive immunizations that may be required to perform BSL-3 laboratory work***********
