Position Description:
This position is responsible for the overall architecture for OutlookSoft consolidations in the SAP BI/BW environment, using SAP tools such as Query Designer, Business Explorer (BEx) and Web Application Designer. The OutlookSoft Architect will be responsible for the full lifecycle and successful delivery of technical and functional components of SAP-based consolidations solutions (i.e. SAP Outlook Soft 5.1/7.0). This role will apply technical knowledge of these tools. This role will use formal methodologies during Requirements Gathering, Design, Build/Test and Deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
The OutlookSoft Architect:
Designs, develops, and supports the OutlookSoft 5.1/7.0 environment.
Determines the strategy for integrating the OutlookSoft and BI system with other Project Fire system components such as:
The Enterprise Portal
Master Data
Data Management
Data Integration components
Develops and validates consolidated reports.
Work with OutlookSoft Developers to architect and design the consolidation solution.
Reviews technical reporting specs and report designs for any consolidated design impacts.
Analyzes and interprets reporting requirements.
Works with Data Modelers to architect and design the Enterprise Reporting and BI technical solution.

Required Skills
Required Skills for this Consolidations OutlookSoft Architect position include the following:
Five (5) years of Technical and Functional Consolidations experience
At least three (3) years of hands-on OutlookSoft experience
Experience with at least two (2) full Life Cycle OutlookSoft implementations
Two (2) years of experience with SAP Business Warehouse 3.5 or higher; BI 7.0 preferred
Experience with financial systems, financial reporting, and SAP FI/GL a big plus
Knowledge of leading practices with month-end/year-end close and consolidation process, as well as proven experience applying and maintaining internal controls, SOX requirements and multiple GAAPs
Experience with various conversion methodologies (i.e. mid-year and year-end) a must
Experience with Net Weaver 2004s and Visual Composer
Experience with third-party reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Arc Plan and/or Business Objects
Experience with SAP Enterprise Portal/NW2004s, ABAP Programming
Expertise in SAP BW 3.5 or higher, with strong experience using SAP Bex Analyzer and WAD Web Application Designer
