Job Listing: Desktop Support

TEKsystems is seeking experienced Desktop Support Specialists in the Champaign IL area for various engagements with its Central IL clients.

Candidates will provide network operating systems hardware / software support which may include the following -
- Configuration, installation and setup of network attached desktops, laptops, servers, BlackBerrys and related peripheral devices.
- PC maintenance support to include troubleshooting and repairing software and hardware problems.
- Install and configure new NT/Win 2000/Win XP/Win 2003 desktop computers, workstations, printers, scanners, modems etc.
- Provide desktop, server, and printer support to end-users.
- Provide phone and in-person support of software packages and problem resolution.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
1. Knowledge of NT 40/Win 2000/Win XP/Win 2003 desktop and server OS
2. Knowledge of Win 2000/Win XP, Microsoft Office
3. Knowledge of and/or experience with Active Directory - DESIRED
4. Superior customer service skills and ability to explain technical information to end users
5. Ability to obtain Secret Clearance - PREFERRED
