Job Listing: Electrical Assembler

Aerotek Commercial Staffing is currently seeking two electrical assemblers for our client in West Columbia, SC.

The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial or commercial environment and will be able to read blue prints and shop drawings.

Candidate will be expected to perform the following: performs a variety of wiring operations of electrical components. Does repetitive wiring arrangements on machines using wiring diagrams in following wiring arrangements. Dismantles and reassembles parts of electrical and mechanical nature. prepares material using material list and wiring diagrams. Works in a neat and orderly manner using necessary tools.
Has sufficient tools to carry out this job.

Candidate specific job duties include but not limited to:

Assembles and wires component parts using such tools as electric hand drills, soldering iron, cutters, luggers,
screw drivers, wrenches, pliers. etc. Cuts connects, solders various wires to required circuits according to wiring diagrams, material list or written and/or limited oral instructions.
Checks out circuit. Maintains good housekeeping habits at all times.
Abides by plant safety rules.
