Job Listing: Quality/Reliability Engineer

Our growth has created an opening for a Reliability/Quality Engineer. Specific duties include: Analyzes preliminary engineering design concepts of major product to recommend design or test methods for attaining customer specified operational reliability. Analyzes projected product utilization and calculates cumulative effect on final system reliability of individual part reliabilities. Drafts failure mode and effect analysis sheets or formulates mathematical models to identify units posing excessive failure risks and support proposed changes in design. Advises and confers with engineers in design review meetings to give reliability findings and recommendations. Analyzes preliminary engineering design concepts of major product to recommend design or test methods for attaining customer specified operational reliability. Analyzes projected product utilization and calculates cumulative effect on final system reliability of individual part reliabilities.


Minimum Qualifications include: BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of related experience. Experience conducting failure analysis to determine root cause. Experience developing failure mode and effect analysis and formulating mathematical models to identify designs posing excessive failure risks. Ability to apply statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process, process changes and suitability of product reliability.
