We are looking for an experienced clinical director responsible for overseeing the operations of a specialized medical clinic and surgery center. This employee will plan and coordinate the daily activities of the clinical and surgery center staff, ensuring proper coverage in all areas. In doing so, this individual will obtain and analyze department work load data to plan and schedule daily clinical and surgery center staff to meet the needs of each location. The clinical director is also responsible for ensuring adequate levels of staffing by interviewing, recommending hiring of, orienting and training nursing staff personnel. Additionally, the director is responsible for ensuring the clinic's compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations. Furthermore, the director will implement, plan and evaluate educational information with the assistance of the Director of Nursing and Medical Director.
Essential Job Functions:
Supervise nursing services in accordance with government and other regulatory standards.
Write policies and procedures ensuring compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations.
Prepares and presents statistical information on department performance, productivity, activity and budget to Chief Operations Officer.
Oversee nursing care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance and restoration of patients' health and wellness.
Orients, trains and evaluates nursing staff.
Ensures the development and delivery of nursing education to staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Current RN licensure
Current CPR certification
Experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, OB-GYN, or Operating Room preferred
Clinical and/or hospital unit management experience
Additional Requirements:
Ability to communicate and collaborate with clinical staff
Ability to educate staff and patients effectively
Ability to work with agencies and departments both internally and externally in order to facilitate and coordinate treatment for patients.
