Job Listing: Instrumentation Technician

Aerotek Automotive is currently seeking an Instrumentation Technician for a contract position with one of the "BIG 3" automakers.

This Technician will perform installation and verification of instrumentation systems into vehicles to support HVAC testing. They will set up tests, operate tests and collect data. This Technician will perform automotive mechanical tasks such as removing dashboards to replace HVAC modules. This Technician will mainly be working with thermocouples. They will also maintain equipment tracking / calibration database.

Candidates for this position MUST have 5 years of relevant automotive experience. They MUST be proficient in automotive Instrumentation and have working knowledge of automotive HVAC systems, Good computer skills are also required.

Familiarity with thermocouples is a bonus.

This is a long term, open-ended position on 2nd shift. Candidates will be required to pass a drug screen and background check.

Candidates with Associates Degrees are highly preferred.
