Job Listing: Research Scientist(entry level)

Aerotek is looking for a Research Scientist to work with one of our customers in the Lawrenceville, NJ area.

Brief job description and requirements:

Research Scientist will assist in preclinical drug screening studies in mice and rats and will be responsible for setting up experiments, monitoring preclinical models, administration of medication, measurement of tumor growth and data entry.
Usual requirement is a minimum of a bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, or a closely related field. Previous in vivo, and animal handling experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, good memory, and ability to learn quickly.
Must be willing to work with and around chemical carcinogens, human tumor lines, and other potentially hazardous materials.
Basic computer skills in Word, Excel, and powerpoint necessary.
Will report directly to a manager and be capable and responsible to work independently.

Must be able to work some weekend mornings 8am-12pm as often as every 4 weeks and at least one holiday period a year.
