As Senior Buyer you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of other staff to procure construction services and electrical equipment for our client's wind farms. You'll be the primary contact during requests for proposals as well as manage internal processes prior to getting contracts. During this process your personal attitude, energy and sense will be key as you develop and manage relationships with suppliers and develop processes to evaluate RFP processes.

Required Skills for this Senior Buyer position include the following:
We're seeking someone with enthusiasm! If you can apply your energy and technical experience to the job, this is a great benefit. A successful candidate for this position will have 5 years of relevant/similar work experience.
You should bring to the table your knowledge of supply chain methodologies and procedures as well as "e" enabled supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, EBP, etc). In order to get these contracts and equipment you'll apply your direct work experience negotiating contracts and purchases and influencing suppliers. You'll need to communicate concepts and data well with Management, as well as Engineers and Project Managers. We are especially interested in speaking with you if you have knowledge of the Electric Power industry or are a Certified Purchasing Manager.
