This position is located in US COAST GUARD, MAINTENANCE & LOGISTICS
COMMAND ATLANTIC, LEGAL DIVISION, NORFOLK, VA

Major Duties

Incumbent is responsible for performing numerous and varied clerical
and administrative functions in support of the Legal Division's heavy
case load. Utilizes a variety of personal computer based hardware
components and software applications to include Microsoft 2003 Excel,
Outlook, Word, and Westlaw legal research programs. Conducts research
and develops plans and recommendations based on project criteria and
research results. Creates, maintains, classifies and cross-
references an extensive legal filing system of folders, publications,
and other materials. Arranges and files correspondence, reports,
documents, folders, and other office data according to applicable
storage and filing systems.

well qualified for the position to receive
consideration for special priority selection.
CTAP and ICTAP eligibles will be considered well
qualified if they attain a cut-off score of
85. We require documentation to support CTAP
or ICTAP eligibility.
