MECHANICAL ENGINEER, ENTRY LEVEL

Our client's manufacturing company is located in the piney woods of East Texas. They are a growing and dynamic company and have been in business for about 90 years. This Division manufactures rubber seals for the Motion & Control Industry.

This Manufacturing Engineer will be involved in the design/redesign of custom seals; will interface with the customer as well as the production line. Will also develop tooling and fixtures for new products and processes as well as work with tooling vendors to supply such designs. The main responsibilities center around developing and evaluating new processes and improving current process capabilities, efficiency and overall productivity in all areas of manufacturing in support of the Corporate strategy.



Required Skills



A Mechanical Engineering degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years directly related experience, but will consider entry level Mechanical Engineers. Good math skills, computer literate and familiarity with CAD software required. Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use basic measuring tools and hands-on capabilities to work on projects without supervision. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, quality systems experience a plus. Strong interpersonal skills.
