Job Listing: COMPLIANCE PARALEGAL

Volt Services Group is looking for a paralegal to join a growing company in the Sacramento area.

As a paralegal you will be responsible to: Handle subpoenas and other legal documents relating to the official process of service on the Company and its officers; Provide and maintain the corporate information for our client and its subsidiaries; Review and analyze documents, and draft affidavits and other legal documents as necessary, prepare correspondence, and convey legal information under direction of an attorney; Compile and organize evidence and other information and discovery documents as needed to respond to requests for production, interrogatories and other information needed by outside counsel; Perform legal and factual research; Work on special projects as needed; and perform computerized legal research. You will be reporting to the Director, where you will be the lead working with another Paralegal.

Required Skills

Above average verbal and written communication skills; interviewing skills; highly organized; analytical office software; legal research skills; Microsoft Office and other law. Desired skills in both library and internet. Pharmacy industry terminology and beginner's knowledge of pharmacy operations. Certificate of Completion of pharmacy laws, paralegal program or a college degree, and at ABA-approved university. At least 7 year law-related experience in law firm, government agency or corporate law environment. At least 7 years experience working in a law firm or a corporation that is a health care provider, or experience in pharmacy industry.
