Job Listing: Material Estimator

The Material Estimator has primary responsibilities in two functional areas. These responsibilities are as follows:

- Ensures the operation and maintenance of a variety of automatic and semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product.

- Ensures administrative and clerical support specifically related to machine shop activities.

Required Skills

- High School diploma

- 2-3 years prior experience in a machine shop

- Ability to run production jobs on CNC equipment

- Ability to check part tolerance criteria·

- Ability to make adjustments to ensure part conformation

- Ability to maintain equipment fluid and lubrication level

- Ability to maintain and reconcile raw material stock levels as directed

- Ability to assist in the preparation of internal job routing documents

- Ability to prepare documentation for physical transfer and parts to inspection·

- Ability to prepare invoice on completed jobs
