Job Listing: Translations Engineer

Our client is searching for a Translations Engineer for a one year contract in Little Rock, Arkansas.

This position will be responsible for Candidate will primarily be responsible for building, implementing and troubleshooting routing translations for the Nortel-250 long distance tandem. Other responsibilities may include but not limited to building trunk groups, managing LERG administration, perform audits, and provide Tier III support for other engineering teams and the Network Operation Center. Perform AMA capture to ensure accurate billing. Resolve and assist with translation issues that are beyond normal programming scenarios.

The candidate must possess and demonstrate strong communication skills, great interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. This position will be well-versed in all aspects of translations engineering in order to anticipate issues or problems with existing platforms, features, capacities and switch limitations. Exercises judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Identifies issues and provides resolution within the workgroup or to the customer. Planning Tools and Databases. Good analytical skills; the ability to prioritize projects; good oral and written communication skills; and good interpersonal skills.

Our client is a large company that uses cutting edge technology and has a great work environment. The contract will pay on a W-2 basis and the pay rate will be based on experience. All candidates must be able to pass a drug and background check.
