Job Listing: Corporate Jet QA Inspector

A Part 135 Operator is Elmira, NY is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector for their facility.


JOB DESCRIPTION

The candidate for this position will assist the Director of Maintenance with all required duties associated with our FAR Part 135, Air Carrier Certificate. This person will be working in the Quality Assurance Department at our Elmira, NY headquarters location.

Duties:

· Ensure all required inspections and maintenance are accomplished and recorded in accordance with prescribed procedures.

· Maintain aircraft records, logbooks and aircraft data with regards to the requirements of the QA Department.

· Perform and/or conduct CFR Part 135 aircraft conformity inspections at both our Elmira location and on the road at third party maintenance provider’s facilities.

· Act as a liaison during FAA audits and checks.

Requirements:

· Candidates must possess a current and valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P)

· Minimum high school education

· Minimum 5 years CFR Part 135 operational experience.

· Good communication and writing skills are a must. Candidate will interface with the FAA, OEM’s, company officers and customers.

· Must be clean, presentable and professional

Job Length: The candidate for this position is needed for a minimum of two (2) months with the possibility of permanent employment at the end of the term.

Pay Rate: This position has a pay rate of $45,000 – $65,000 per year depending on experience.

Thgis is considered a temporary position for the first two months

  • CANDIDATES MUST POSSESS A CURRENT AND VALID AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT CERTIFICATE (A&P)
  • MINIMUM HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION
