Job Listing: Senior Project Manager

Our customer, a Fortune 500 Company located in the Charlotte area, is always in search of qualified and enthusiastic job seekers. Candidates with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management and at least 7-10 years of project management experience working with credit risk.

Responsibilities:
This position has primary management responsibility of processes and deliverables of several Basel Retail projects including, but not limited to the following:
-Acts as contact, coordinator, and resource for project implementation, monitoring, documentation and management
-Support the implementation of projects and initiatives
-Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan
-Develops documentation, monitors and reports project status, assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation with project stakeholders and team members
-Identify and eliminate obstacles to solution plans, business goals, or implementation
- Assess and manage scope change, communications, issues and risks to meet project objectives.

Requirements:
Knowledge of Retail business functions. Understanding of Basel rules and requirements. Four year college degree or equivalent experience, plus 7-10 years of project management experience. Possess strong analytical, problem solving, quality management and organizational skills. Comprehensive understanding and application of project management theory. Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to change. Proven ability to make tough decisions and accept challenging assignments. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement project plans. Proficient PC skills, including MS project.
