Job Listing: SR.Network Operation Center Analyst

Our client is searching for a Network Operation Center Analyst for a permanent position in Little Rock.

Job Information: The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to data customers. These data customers will primarily be small-to-medium businesses that purchase IP-based services, but will also include independent Internet Service Providers and key enterprise customers (e.g.- state governments, large businesses, hospital/medical networks). Services supported include DSL with Static IP, ATM, Frame Relay, Point-to-Point circuits, IMA bonding, VPN, MPLS, Metro-E, and BGP routing. This position will interface directly with the business customers, customer IT organizations, and Account Team Managers and Sales Engineers in coverage areas. This position will utilize an automated ticketing system to record and track resolution of customer issues.

Minimum Requirements: Associate Degree in Electronics and 4-6 years electronics experience with 4+ year directly related to the job and 2+ years of digital experience. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate. Experience supporting large WAN's.

  • 2 YEAR DEGREE IN TECHNICAL FIELD AND 2 YEARS RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
  • 4 YEARS DATA TELECOMMUNICATIONS EXPERIENCE
  • 3+ YEARS COMMAND LINE EXPERIENCE CONFIGURING AND TROUBLESHOOTING CISCO AND/OR JUNIPER ROUTERS.
  • - 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN ATM AND FRAME RELAY
  • PREFERABLY IN A SERVICE PROVIDER ENVIRONMENT
  • EXPERT UNDERSTANDING OF BGP
  • OSPF ROUTING PROTOCALS
