Job Listing: Environmental Engineer

FIRM PROFILE: Georgia based environmental consulting and engineering firm with expertise in the management of environmental cleanup issues. In combination with several strategically located satellite offices, we provide services to clients throughout the South, Southeast and Central regions of the United States. Our team of professional employees consists of environmental specialists, geologists, hydrogeologists, civil and chemical engineers, biologists, an ecologist and a physicist supported by highly trained field technicians and administrative staff. Each team member holds a variety of professional experience, and several hold advanced degrees with dual licenses and certifications in fields associated with their expertise.

DESCRIPTION: In need of an Environmental Project Engineer to support UST projects for large scale clients in the SE. This individual will have the opportunity to work directly under one (or more) of our Professional Engineers and/or Senior Project Managers. Will be involved with the development and monitoring of UST environmental remediation projects across the SE region. Will support and provide engineering and design of UST environmental remediation systems for soil and groundwater contamination. Estimated 70% office work and 30% site work with minimal travel (majority will be in and around Atlanta area)>

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (prefer Civil or Environmental but open to Chemical, etc. if you have the applicable field experience).
-0 to 5 years of experience (specific UST/Petroleum projects is a definite plus)
-Ability to perform field work and ultimately manage site projects autonomously (i.e. report writing on the office side and experience with systems, troubleshooting, maintenance, installations, etc. in the field)
-Current 40 Hour OSHA certification (or ability to obtain 8 Hour Refresher immediately)
-Willing to make overall H&S a priority as it is a core principle of the company as well as a major requirement for their high profile client base.

TARGET ANNUAL SALARY: Target of 43,000 to 57,000 (will be commensurate with qualifications, education and experience).
