Process Safety Manager

A growing-mid sized chemical manufacturer in South Jersey has an immediate opening for an experienced Process Safety Manager.

This individual will manage PSM, TCPA and RMP programs in accordance with federal and state regulations. This candidate will also be reporting to the Director of Health, Safety and Environment, and responsible to promote the application of best management practices through operational excellence and ensure compliance within all administrative and operational functions.

Major job duties include:
-Achieve personal safety objectives and promote safe work habits and conditions
-Perform/lead accident investigations involving highly hazardous chemicals
-Maintain expertise in applicable NJDEP TCPA, OSHA PSM, and USEPA RMP regulations
-Participate in the employee safety committee, supervisory safety committee and OSHA VPP implementation team.
-Perform 5 year assessment including HAZOP revalidation and dispersion analysis.


Job Requirements and Qualifications:
-5 years Chemical plant experience, preferably in HSE or engineering
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, SAP, and dispersion modeling software
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
