Job Listing: Certified Clinical Research Coordinator

We are looking for a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator in Baltimore, Maryland area.

CCRC will oversee the conduct of clinical trials from pre-study planning through the successful completion of all patient visits and documentation. Interacts and communicates with Sponsor clients throughout all stages of the study. Directly involved in patient care and support the PI in the successful completion of the research study. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree, be a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator with 3-5 years of Phase I-III clinical research experience, Registered Nurse preferred. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills

Key responsibilities:
- They will be responsible for a variety of specialized clinical research activities, ensures that established protocols are implemented, maintains protocol integrity, monitors participant’s status and safety, and plays a significant role in the education of clinical staff and clinical trial participants.
- Adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
- Explains protocol procedures to participant to ensure their understanding and adherence. Administers Informed Consent and discusses study details with the participant.
- Monitors and documents all participant’s adverse events, medical condition and response to study medications and treatments.
- Ensures that all protocol guidelines are met.
- Cooperates/collaborates with physicians and all staff members involved in the participant’s care.
- Arranges for additional pre/post laboratory work or procedures.
- Supports the implementation and application of the Initiator database.
- Responds in a timely manner to queries related to the clinical research data.
- Attain and maintain ACLS certification.
- Assumes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
