Job Listing: Voice Network Monitoring Specialist

Teksystems has partnered with a well known Government Integrator to hire a Voice Network Monitoring Specialist. This will be a temporary to permanent hire after 3 months.

The Position requires 1-3 years of related experience in telecommunications support in an operations environment. Associate's Degree in a related technical discipline. Bachelors Degree preferred. NCSS, NCSE or NCDE Nortel Certifications in Telephony Manager, Element Manager, CS 1000, MPS 500 & 1000, Audiocodes Mediant 2000 SIP gateway, Call Pilot Reporter, Contact Center Manager Server or Symposium Call Center Server are a plus but not an absolute requirement. Candidate must be open to shift work as this is a 7/24 operations environment.

Candidate will be responsible for monitoring network elements and reacting to system alerts from the monitoring system (NetIQ).

Job Requirements:
Knowledge of maintenance, configuration, and administration of relevant Nortel voice network management and configuration tools are a plus, but not an absolute requirement (e.g., Telephony Manager, Element Manager, CS 1000, MPS 500 & 1000, Audiocodes Mediant 2000 SIP gateway, Call Pilot Reporter, Contact Center Manager Server, Symposium Call Center Server) Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US citizenship may be required for some positions.
