Job Listing: Inside Wire POTS Tip & Ring Technician
Volt Telecommunications Group, Inc. seeks Inside Wire POTS Tip and Ring Technician for Macon, GA. This is a "PART TIME" position. DO NOT assume we have your resume. To verify receipt of your resume call Gary Hensley at 888-640-6204. Candidates must have basic knowledge of Tip & Ring Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS). Experience with pulling, test and tone inside residential and customer inside premises wiring and forwarding dial tone from the Demarc to the actual telephone jack with trouble shooting capabilities. Technicians must have a vehicle able to carry, secure and house company provided materials. Must have utility ladder and own tools including dial test set and cell phone, personal laptop a plus, but not required. Maximum salary of $17.00/hour includes starting salary of $13.00/hour plus $4.00/hour Truck and Tool allowance.Physical Job Activities: Medium to Heavy, Standing 20%, Walking 10%, Sitting 5%, Climbing 10%, Lifting 10%, Bending 15%, Driving 15%, and Stooping 15%.Volt Telecommunications Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace. Required Skills
Along with requirements above, experience with POTS. Must be a U. S. citizen, be able to speak and write English clearly, able to pass initial drug testing, background check and random drug testing. Must have valid driver license, auto insurance and clean driving record. Technicians are responsible for gas and upkeep of the vehicle maintaining valid vehicle insurance.
