The incumbent is responsible to the Associate Director for Patient Care Services, accountable for the delivery of all nursing care in the acute and mental health areas. Provide top-level direction in strategic planning; directs, implements, coordinates and improves programs and services delivered by Nursing personnel.
Major Duties
Will participate in strategic planning, directing, implementing, coordinating and improving Nursing services. The incumbent will provide primary assistance to the ADPCS in guiding the overall management of the practice and professional nursing and delivery of patient care within Patient Care Services. Duties include leadership in development and implementation of facility-wide nurse staffing methodology, day to day oversight and administration of facility-wide nurse staffing methodology, day to day oversight and administration of nursing practice.

Required Skills
Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship, current registered nurse (RN) licensure, a BSN from an NLN/CCNE accredited program and a Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field. Incumbent must have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in progressively responsible leadership assignments, with demonstrated supervisory/administrative competencies directing change and effectively managing resources.
Management experience and advance clinical care experience in behavioral health experience strongly preferred.
You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
After appointment, you will be subject to random testing for illegal drug use.
You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation before you can be appointed into this position.
