Job Listing: HVAC Mechanical Engineer

Rapidly growing Southern California Military HVAC Company looking to fill Engineer positions.

Candidates should have a technical degree and a minimum of 5 years experience designing and engineering air conditioners and/or refrigeration systems. Candidate should be capable of managing concurrent development efforts for air conditioner proposal and development programs, including specification of components, sheet metal layout, and fabrication approaches. A 'hands-on' person with good presentation and technical writing skills is required.


Required Skills

Capabilities must include engineering leadership experience, development of HVAC system functional design concepts, sizing all cooling and heating loads from written specifications, developing refrigeration, electrical, and control schematics, sizing components (fans, coils, motors, etc.), component/cabinet layout, trouble shooting service calls, and providing manufacturing and test support. A working knowledge of 3D engineering design software is mandatory. Familiarity of welding procedures would be extremely helpful. Experience with military grade air conditioner equipment is highly desirable.

Experience working in an ISO 9001:2000 with design environment
