This Large Redmond Software Company has a team that is looking for a strong Test Developers to deliver test contents for their Storage Program. The test contents developed will be shipped and be used by storage vendors across the globe to validate the quality and compatibility of their hardware with Windows. This is a great opportunity for a candidate to get the experience of drive quality and customer satisfaction for every end-user of Windows, and an exciting challenge that will expose the candidate to an array of storage areas that include fabrics, platform, personal and optical technologies.
The team is looking for two types of candidates with several openings for both.

This is an estimated 8 to 12 month contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Redmond, Washington. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Pacific Northwest.

Position 1: Test Tool Developer
Requirements:
Strong C/ C++ coding skills. Candidates need to be able to developer test tools as well as create automation.
Solid problem solving and debugging skills.
Good test aptitude
Pluses:
Experience with controller and device level programming and/or testing.
Network experience.
Experience with storage.
A BA/BS in CS/CE/EE or a related discipline.
Experience with the Windows OS components and Win32 programming.
Experience with kernel debugging.
Position 2: Coder/Tester
Requirements:
Critical thinking, problem solving, design and customer perspective.
Candidates should have solid coding skills in C/C++ and knowledge of Windows internals.
Candidates needs to have experience in testing.
Pluses:
BS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
Scripting skills (VB or C#).
