Job Listing: Appointment Setter

Aerotek is currently in search of Appointment Setters for a business to business telemarketing position. Individuals will call on building owners, property managers, purchasing departments, and facilities managers to schedule appointments for Outside Sales Reps to conduct a needs analysis, put together a bid and presentation for the customer on janitorial services.

It is a very competitive industry so candidates must be very effective at qualifying customers over the phone before setting the appointment.

REQUIREMENTS:

-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Previous sales experience, in the industry would be great
-Willingness to work overtime, work as many hours as it takes to get the job done
-Comfort level making outbound calls, some of them are cold calls
-Two or more years of telemarketing, inside sales, sales support, appointment setting or related experience is strongly desired.

ENVIRONMENT:

This is a corporate headquarters. A small office with only 5 individuals in this position. This is not a call center.

Current appointment setters are making between $40,000-$50,000 due to bonuses. Bonuses are based on closed appointments not on appointments set.

Full benefits package after 90 days. 24 paid days off within the first year.
