Job Listing: Sheet Metal Mechanic

SUMMARY $14- $30 /hr depending on licenses and experience

This position requires the ability to perform all tasks required to ensure efficient production and flow of work on the aircraft, while achieving the highest quality work possible and under general supervision.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Follows policies and procedures as they relate to handling of

parts and placement of such parts.

2. Ability to comprehend aircraft maintenance literature.

3. Accomplish planned work in compliance with company procedures

and supervisors' instructions.

4. Report promptly to supervisors any problems associated with

carrying out work assignments.

5. Knowledgeable in the use of basic aircraft tools and hand tools.

6. Assures all paperwork requirements are kept current with job

progress.

7. Prepares and submits all required documentation to Quality

Control following completion of project.

8. Follows written and verbal instructions.

9. Maintains a safe and clean working environment in accordance

with company standards.

10. Reports any un-airworthy items to supervisors.

11. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

12. Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety

standards.



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None



QUALIFICATIONS

Solid understanding in the use of precision measuring tools and basic tools.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires a High School education or equivalent reading, writing and math abilities. A minimum of one year experience in aircraft sheet metal.



Required Skills for Sheet Metal Mechanic Job:

  • A MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE IN AIRCRAFT SHEET METAL.
