Job Listing: Security System Administrator

We currently have a need for an experienced Security System Administrator for a contract opportunity in Honolulu.

General Required Experience:
Four (4) years experience in Integrated Physical Security Systems (IPSS).
- Technical experience should include backup/restoration of system data, operating and maintaining IPSS systems at various customer sites with the assistance of senior team members, trouble-shooting hardware and software problems, replacing defective components, and upgrading software.
- Service oriented experience should include serving as a backup user to issue badges, monitor alarms, manage the visitor/vehicle entrance points, providing assistance with new hardware installations and upgrades, communicating and coordinating with various security officers, maintaining spare equipment supply, and creating/maintaining local system documentation (as-builts, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), logs, etc.), meeting customer requirements with system configurations and alterations, training users, interfacing with other maintenance personnel, and assisting users at customer service points during busy periods.
- He/she must be eligible for or already have a TOP SECRET security clearance.

Specialized Experience:
SQL Server, Active Directory Administration, and CISCO Network Administration. Lenel certification preferred, but not required.

Other desired skills:
ATFP (Anti-terrorism Force Protection), Site Security, Physical Security, Security Networks

Education: Four (4) year Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Substitution: Graduation from an accredited technical institute or successful completion of military school designed to train personnel for independent performance in computer systems, AND a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years field experience in system administration. Specialized experience must be within the latest two years of experience.
