Aerotek Performance Resources is a national company that is currently seeking an Entry Level Implementation Manager to support our manufacturing and distribution operations in Charlotte, NC.
Under general supervision of the Director of Operations, the Implementation Manager's primary responsibility will be to manage the schedule, performance and the resources of an implementation. The IM will determine appropriate requirements and solutions to business problems that will ensure customer satisfaction to our clients in the manufacturing and/or distribution industries. The IM will provide analysis; definition and direction to site related implementation activities. The IM has the responsibility of leading an effective implementation team executing the implementation strategy. The IM is the primary liaison to the client during implementations.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with the development of the site management strategy.
- Operational trainer of client Site Manager and Performance/Production Supervisor(s).
- Assist business development through providing assessment data for review for the DO and BDM.
- Implements/applies Engineering philosophies such as Lean Manufacturing, System Integration, Quality Improvement, Productivity Improvement, Cost Improvement, and Ergonomics.
- Responsible for implementing time studies, line balancing, and continuous improvement disciplines.
- Completion of weekly/monthly progress reports, timelines, and graphics communicating site status and progress.
- Communication with the DO and HR Manager to ensure that necessary Health and Safety training is in place.
- Successful hand-off of the client site to the ROM after completion of the implementation.
Qualifications
- College degree in Industrial Engineering/Management or related area or;
- Minimum 2-3 yrs. experience in operations and project management in the Manufacturing and/or Distribution industries.
- Computer literate-Microsoft Excel and Word applications are required. Access, Visio, Project and other high level applications are PREFFERED.
- Experience in developing new solutions for traditional methods of production and measuring results.
