Job Listing: Product Designer

Whirlpool Corporation, a leading manufacturer of household appliances, is looking for a Product Designer to work in their St. Joseph location.

The successful candidate will develop designs for mechanical or electrical components and subsystems. He/She will assist in establishing basic project design objectives and in the selection of design approaches, as well as serve as a consultant to outside vendors.

Individuals must have Pro/Engineer experience and experience with GD&T. The Product Designer must have ability to apply DFM/DFA concepts in developing designs and in design review activities, contribute to FEA. Candidates must have the ability to critique designs for safety, manufacture, failure modes, customer usage and function.

This is full-time contract position.
