Job Listing: Sr. Unix Engineer - Solaris, Linux

Volt Technical Resources has teamed up with a Leading Global Institutional Asset Manager to find a Sr. Unix Engineer that will be responsible for architecting and designing the UNIX and future Linux environments for this company.
This asset management firm has over $550 billion (USD) in client assets under management, and serves as an investment advisor to approximately 1,500 institutions located in over 40 countries.
They are not brokers, lenders or underwriters. Their expertise is investments - from global equities and fixed income to currencies and commodities.
This firm likes to describe themselves as a collection of teams that create solutions designed to respond to specific client needs. Their most distinctive strength is their proprietary, independent research, which is shared across all areas of the organization and used only for managing their clients' portfolios.
This company is a private partnership. They exist solely to meet the needs of their clients. An independent structure and collegial culture are two of the main reasons professionals join this firm- and stay for their entire careers.

Here you will also find the entrepreneurial spirit of a small firm and the resources of a large organization. The result? A positive environment where skilled and talented professionals can thrive and grow.
Because they have continuously expanded their global presence and increased their assets under management, there are employment opportunities in information technology in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
