A full-service Internet marketing company is hiring a Senior Programmer. This position is open due to continued growth.
Position Description:
Specifically, Our Client is seeking a Senior Programmer who will be the technical owner of an application or project, and who ensures application integrity and quality throughout the entirety of development and/or maintenance. Additionally, the Senior Programmer:
Is responsible for guiding fellow Developers on his/her team through projects and ensuring that their work meets development and quality standards.
Must have demonstrated ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with persons at all levels of authority, as well as, across company departments.
This is essential when:
Defining business requirements and project scope
Translating requirements into technical criteria
Providing development estimates for system enhancements
The Programmer must have the ability to work remotely, with occasional on-site visits.

Required Skills
Required Skills for the Senior Programmer position includes the following:
Applicants must have communication skills utilized for developing and maintaining system documentation, ensuring working and effective system monitors, and promoting quality throughout all processes.
Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of Programmer experience working with such languages as .NET, Java, Cold Fusion, and/or PHP.
Knowledge of website development including software design characteristics and development in HTML and web-based services is required.
Detailed knowledge of professional standards, practices and principles regarding design and production of eCommerce materials is necessary.
3+ years of experience in an IT environment with a minimum of one (1) year in a leadership position required.
Degree in Computer Science or a closely-related field is preferred.
