Business Analyst

Position Description:
Business Analysts have primary accountability for providing client support and consultation on the development of business requirements in the design and delivery of IT solutions. The Business Analyst will work collaboratively with Enterprise Architecture to deliver the best possible requirements solutions by demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of business strategies, products, functions and processes.
The position requires self-starters with little direct supervision, and with the ability to work in a dynamic and high-performance environment. You should be able to interact well with various business partners, Software Developers, project leaders and peers, to ensure successful delivery of deliverables during various stages of the life cycle.
This position also requires that you develop working relationships with business customers and vendors by being proactive and providing timely and accurate information through effective written and verbal communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst:

Performs analysis of business models, logical specifications and/or business requirements.
Develops detailed functional specifications including:

Data and function models
Process flow diagrams
Report and screen layouts

Develops and documents non-functional specifications when relevant, as part of the required Systems Requirement Document deliverable during the Requirements Stage of the life cycle.
Documents operational requirements and develops test plans.
Is responsible for participation in all phases of testing:

System
Integration
Business Acceptance
Functional Testing
Performance Test efforts

Oversees Acceptance Testing.
Develops User Guides.
Provides user training.
Supports the user in development of work processes.
