Job Listing: Controls Engineer

Aerotek Energy Services has an opening for a Controls Engineer in the Aiken, SC area. Our client is a large, well established manufacturer of power distribution equipment. The pay will range from $85,000-$95,000. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Job requirements:

-BS in Electrical Engineering
-Strong equipment experience with PLCs, both troubleshooting and programming. Allen Bradley PLCs, RSLogix, 5, 500, 5000.
-Strong LABVIEW programming experience.
-Strong experience in both sustaining and improving multiple processes.
-5 – 8 years manufacturing experience in a dynamic and “hands on” environment.
-Project management experience from start to finish.
-Capital justification and process improvement.
-Access, SQL and Visual Basic experience.
-Lean background and experience…Kaizen, Poke-Yoke, 5S, Kan Ban, etc.
-High voltage testing experience (>3Kv) a plus.
-Nonunion environment work experience preferred.
